What is the Responsibility of the Owner of the Animal

A person who undertakes the maintenance and management of an animal on an ongoing or temporary basis is obliged to remedy the damage caused by the animal. Even if the person has no fault in the occurrence of this damage, he is responsible for the damage caused. This responsibility is not the responsibility for the defect, but the responsibility for the cause. If the owner proves that he has taken the necessary care to prevent harm from occurring, he will not be liable. So the animal handler can bring proof of salvation.

This state of responsibility is provided by Article 67 of the Law No. 6098.in its article, ‘The person who undertakes the care and management of an animal on a permanent or temporary basis is obliged to remedy the damage caused by the animal. If the owner proves that he has taken the necessary care to prevent this damage from occurring, he will not be liable.
