Who Can Attend the Condominium Owners’ Association Meeting?

The main property is managed by the condominium owners’ association, and the form of management is determined by this association, subject to the mandatory provisions of the law. Th e condominium owners’ association meets at least once a year at the times specified in the management plan; if no such time is specified, it meets within the first month of each calendar year. The condominium association convenes with a majority of unit owners in terms of number and land share and makes decisions by majority vote. Each unit owner has one vote, regardless of their land share ratio.

Consequently, unit owners are granted the right to vote at the condominium owners’ general meeting.

Can I Attend a Condominium Meeting as a Tenant?

The Condominium Law does not require you to be a condominium owner to vote at the Condominium General Assembly. A condominium owner may send another person to the meeting by proxy to vote and express their views. At the meeting, the proxy has the same authority and rights as the condominium owner.
