If residing abroad, the person residing in the normal situation indicates that they have actually worked for at least 185 days within the last 1 year in order to enter Turkey. The vehicle manufacturer is located at their place of residence. Persons working on ships, temporarily assigned to construction sites, or staying in hotels are not counted as residing because they are not actually working for 185 days within the last year.

The calculation of the 185-day period for those residing abroad is made by obtaining the program from the passport entry and exit records obtained from the General Directorate of Security. Passport or identity information is entered into the program, which then calculates the time spent in Turkey and the programs attended by going back 1 year (365 days) from the desired date of entry into Turkey.

My son must inform the customs administration to ensure that the 185-day period is calculated correctly for individuals who have entered and exited Turkey with different passports or identity documents within 1 year.
