The demand for the practice of paid military service in our country has increased significantly in recent years. As in previous years, it is expected that the practice of paid military service will be re-implemented in the near future. The fact that the issue is on the agenda also raises the question of whether it is possible to qualify for paid military service as a result of age correction cases. Because with the recent entry into force of the application, people whose age does not reflect the truth in the population have had problems with applications and many of them have not been able to benefit from the paid military service application. As is known, in the practice of paid military service, a certain base is determined in terms of age and the requirement that they have completed this age is required. However, the clear regulation of our Legislation reveals that the age change made after entering military service has no effect on applying for paid military service. Because Article 81 of the Military Service Code. The arrangement of the article is as follows:
“Age changes made after entering the military service age (except those made by the court on the basis of official hospital birth records) are not taken into account in military service procedures. However, for those whose age and appearance are not compatible with the ones written in the family register during the polls, those whose age corrections are not prevented from being registered, an application is made to the Public prosecutor by the head of the military service branch to correct their age and their military service is made according to the result of the trial.”
According to the first paragraph, the surveys of those who have not yet reached military age according to their age, whose ages have been corrected from those whose ages have been corrected, are carried out together with their peers (peers) and taken under arms. According to the first paragraph, those who have reached military age according to their corrected age, but have not completed the age of 23, according to their corrected age, are taken under arms together with their peers after their surveys. Those who have completed the age of 23 according to their adjusted age are immediately referred to the classes and assembly places to be determined by the Ministry of National Defense after their surveys.
Surveys of those who have raised their age before entering military service are conducted according to their changing age.
According to the regulation, if the age change is made only on the basis of official hospital records, it will be able to affect applications for military service and paid military service.
